Pastor Jim & Deb Bollinger
Jim grew up in Blacksburg, VA, the youngest son
of a Virginia Tech professor. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree from
Colorado School of Mines in 1985, and began a career in information technology
that brought him experience in industry and academia. In 2005 Jim and his wife
Deb responded to God’s call to serve Trinity UMC in Lexington where they
founded the CrossRoads college ministry. In 2006, Jim accepted a part-time
appointment to Randolph Street UMC in Lexington, even as he and Deb continued
to serve CrossRoads. Jim has been in full-time ministry since 2008, first
serving Randolph Street and CrossRoads, then from 2013-2018 at the
Collierstown-Mount Horeb Charge and from 2018-2022 at Greenville UMC. They have two
daughters and four grandchildren ranging in ages from 14-19, all living in
Pennsylvania. Deb is both a life and ministry partner, and together they keep
the Lord in the center of their lives and decision-making.
